I began my journey at Vitality almost 2 years ago. I was a stay at home mom and had just had my second child a few months before. I wanted to do something to get out of my house for a couple of hours each week and so a friend and I decided to do it together. I didn’t plan to join when I purchased my $20 Groupon. I had been ‘stuck’ in a gym membership before and paid money every month for 3 years to a facility that I almost NEVER attended. I figured if I only spent $20 on this, if I decided I didn’t like it and didn’t want to go, then it wouldn’t be such a waste if I went or not.

The first few classes were HARD! I was completely out of shape and spent a lot of time being very sore days after working out. But I wanted to keep going! I loved the structure of the classes, and the pain was good, I knew that I was actually working my muscles and I felt confident that changes were happening.

After a few classes, I convinced my husband that I wanted to join for a year as a member. He was skeptical at first much like I was, but I really needed this. I started feeling better about myself both physically and mentally. I noticed a change in my appearance and in my overall health. I am a happier person to be around, more confident in myself, I have more energy for my kids and I love making new friends and having one thing just for me.

The trainers and staff at Vitality are amazing. I have always felt important and that I was worth it. My journey has been life changing and I am so thankful to have been a part of this community and look forward to what’s to come!
