Turkey meatballs

  • 2lbs ground turkey
  • 1/2 yellow onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons of Argentinian chimichurri ( available at The Silk Road – tell them Cherlene sent you )
  • 1 tsp garlic power ( 1 tsp of Victorian epicure Adobo seasoning works well in this too as an added flavor )
  • & if you like a little kick, try 1/2 Tsp or more Salt water Chili lime or Morita chipotle chilies ground….. Yum.

Mix well with spoon & use a teaspoon to scoop out turkey & roll into balls. ( I always test cook 1 to see if it has enough flavor as turkey is bland so try 1 before the whole batch is cooked ) .
Cook in a non stick pan until brown on all sides and cooked thoroughly. About 15-20 minutes.

Keep them in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze them and add (once thawed) 1/2 cup chopped cilantro , 2 diced tomatoes, 1 red pepper chopped , 2 -3 cloves of garlic, 1/2 tsp cumin, & pepper to taste. Add the heat of the Morita chipotle if you like heat & Sauté until everything is blended well (about 10 minutes) and enjoy
